Our school year runs from September to May.
We offer classes for children two to five years of age. A child must turn two years old on or before December 31st of the current year in order to attend the Terrific Toddler II's Class. All other classrooms are filled based on the child's date of birth.
We offer Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 9:30 am - 1:00 pm. The Terrific Toddler II's, Terrific Toddler III's and the Tremendous Three's attend 3 days a week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with the option of also attending on Mondays. The Fantastic Four's attend Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Tuition is due on the first day of the month and is as follows:
Three days per week $210/month
Four days per week $250/month
There is a $10 discount per sibling
A registration fee of $90 (non-refundable) is due at the time of registration.
Cook's Playschool offers a Summer Camp each year, typically for six weeks that operates on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9:30 am - 1:00 pm.
Summer Camp is filled with many fun activities including Pirate Week, Dinosaur Day, July 4th Parade, Wacky Watermelon Wednesday, Splash Day, Camping With Critters, and Jammies For Jesus PJ Party just to name a few.
Summer Camp dates will be announced at registration time in February or March.
Monthly Themes and Visitors
Each and every month we will highlight and celebrate various themes including Fire Safety, with a visit from the local fire station, Halloween/Fall with our very own Cook's Pumpkin Patch; A Thanksgiving Feast for our Fantastic Fours, a Christmas program and Santa visit. Every class also participates in "Super Bowl" Training Camp, Dr. Seuss Birthday celebration, Valentines Day Post Office, Dental Hygiene month with a Dental visitor and other seasonal visitors such as The Easter Bunny and Leprechaun. We are also visited by a storyteller from the Mt. Island Library.
Monthly Bible Themes
Each month the children and parents will have the opportunity to help with local missions. The children make cards monthly for the "Homebound" and "Shut-ins" at Cook's Church. The cards are mailed and loved by all that receive them. We also join Cook's Church in offering the opportunity to donate a designated food item each month to "Loaves and Fishes" food pantry and collections for "The Lily Pad Haven", ( a safe home for those escaping human trafficing). There are also various "special" collections throughout the year in which you can help others.
